Alright, its week seven...

Week SEVEN! Jesus Christ!

Anyway, It's week seven of college, and yesterday I realized how lousy the food in the cafeteria was. It was absolutely wretched. I mean, why didn't anyone tell me that this food was just the warmed over slopp from the day before?

Okay, okay. It's not that bad. Today, I had grilled ham and cheese(not good when its cold), chicken salad, and ham and pea soup. Everything was mediocre. I guess it took me so long to realize this because I usually eat lunch in my dorm.

There is an alternative to the cafeteria. Solid wRock Cafe. Higher prices, but the food isn't as bad. Still bad, but not as bad.

To make things worse, the help is incompetent. I said clearly that I wanted all the meat and cheese for my omelette(this was for dinner), and light onions. She made light everything. The people in the line were laughing. She really tried to understand, though. I just let it go.

As for what I'm going to talk about on this blog, I'm going to lay it out for you.

It will be funny. At least it will be to me. I want to chronicle some of the funny stuff that happens to me everyday. I think life being a Christian is the most funniest life ever. It's pure fun. Such as today. I'm coming back from my English Comp Mid-term, and as I enter my floor, I'm bombarded with country music. Not new. I hear all the time here. What makes it funny is that the song that's playing is "Back at One". The first time I heard it, Brian McKnight recorded it. Can you imagine that? A dulcimer( I asked some of the guitar heads here, this the best they could come up with) playing on that song? The chorus was the funniest part. "wone, ya like a dream come tru, two, just wanna be wit you... Hilarious. I had to laugh out loud.

It will be spiritual. I'll always have spiritual insights here. I think life should be balanced. For example, on Fridays, I plan to introduce a series of entries entitled: TGIF-talk God, it's Friday. TGIF comes from my view point about being a saved and single young man in this day and age, although everybody can get something out of it. It's Friday and you want to hang out with your friends, but you know what their idea of a good time is. So what do you do? Hopefully, my entries will give some advice and other spiritual stimulus to help you on your daily walk with God.

It will be participatory. I don't know everything. So sometimes I'll have questions-open forums if you will on different subjects.

The bottom line is that I want you to have fun and be uplifted when you come here. And maybe your comments can help me as well.
