Moving Forward, Even in the Darkness

Monday there was a power outtage here on campus. Not fun. Not only was the power out, but the phones were out, too. First, I'm in Rochester Hills. There were no lights. The college is in a wooded area, so it was very "Blair Witch".

Speaking of Blair Witch, did any one see that? That was one of the most disappointing movies I've seen.

Back to the black-out... It was like pandimonium here. Students were migrating from dorms to dorms. Even the back-up security lights eventually failed. But instead of going home, I decided to stay here for the night, and the power was restored about 4am Tuesday morning.

Wow! This is the college life. I pay almost $20,000 to go to this school, just to get my lights cut off.

Moving Foward.....
As I was saying on yesterday, we must be prepared to keep moving. The wisdom writer in Scriputre asks "Who can stand God's cold?" Well, its a fact that if your body gets to cold, it involuntarily "shivvers" to keep itself warm. Yawning, shivvers, teeth chattering-these are all messages from your brain that you need to get somewhere warm-move foward towards the heat. God's love is the warmth in our lives that keeps us "heated" in the harsh cold weather of life's winter. That's why when life gets like "life", you must keep moving... foward in order to stay warm. My point is simple: Keep Moving toward the Master.

Please pray for my former Alma Mater as one of the current students there at Mumford High School was diagnosed, treated, and released for TB. Pray that all that may have come in contact with that student will be okay.

Thats all for now.

Until Next Time,
The Minibishop
