Controversy Thursday Part One

Hello All!

I had a really interesting class in African Philosophy/African-American Experience. Two people had outbursts, and one of them left the room crying and didn't show up until about forty-five minutes after the class had ended.

I'm trying to figure out a way to post the speech the was the basis for today's lecture. Once I post that or at least some excerpts from it, we can get cracking. I'll probably do this later on tonight. It will be late, so you won't see it until tomorrow morning at the latest.

Secondly, the suspicions about Hezekiah Walker have been officially confirmed. I'll provide a link for the article:

('http://www.musicnewsweekly.com/index.php/weblog/comments/hezekiah_comes_out_the_closet/');

Yes that's right. Hezekiah has been living a double life. Being in the music industry, there has always been rumors. I can't find a website for his church, but he will be stepping down from his post as pastor of the Love Fellowship Tabernacle Church in Brooklyn, New York.

I'm devastated because another preacher has been scandalized. Because of the calling on my life and my role in active ministry today, I am even more commited to lancing every root of personal sin in my life because it will directly effect my ability to minister to a public that needs God. However, our mission is compromised when the people to whom we have been sent lose all confidence in our credibilty.

Why is sexual perversion so prevalent in music ministry? Are their homosexual pastors? Yes. But it seems like its more prevalent in the Christian arena of performing arts. I'm going to study this and I will post my findings later in Controversy Thursday Part Three.

I still haven't forgot about class. I'll post the speech as soon as I can.

Until Then,
The Minibishop

Yes it is sad that you have more Pastors that are not up holding thier calling, just pray for them.

Dajooce, I understand your concern, but an apology letter doesn't validate much either.
